No, this is a factory state feature that is completed by the OEM which is
why it is sometimes hidden to prevent damage.

Hi Chad

If you have Vista Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise version, then yes.
You can create a new partition. See

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/95...-partition.htm

Then, make a complete PC backup and save it to that partition. See

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/99...e-computer.htm

If you do not have these versions, then you can still create a ne
partition. However, you will only be able to backup individual file
unless you got a 3rd party program to make a recovery or complet
backup. See

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/10...ckup-files.htm

and

'Download backup software trial of HDD ghosting, data backup an
restore software for home and home office PCs
(http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing...oad/trueimage/
(This program allows you to make a bootable recovery DVD to.

usually creating a partition requires re-installation of the os ,but not in
all cases.i'm sure software is available.another option is a second hard
drive or an external hard drive.
