Doug,
Right-click "Documents" in the Start menu and choose Properties. In the Location tab, click "Restore Default". This places the Documents folder in the default location, in case it was accidentally moved.

Is it possible to recreate the "Documents" folder? It doesn't appear to be a
folder but a pointer of some kind. A friend stuffed her documents link up,
somehow. If I look at the location for Documents. it is
C:\users\debbie\rubbish\rubbish. However there is no folder called "Rubbish"
anywhere. All the documents can be found by clicking on Documents in the
start menu, but, unfortunately, Outlook and all the 3rd party programs that
have data in the Documents folder can't find them.
I'd like to rename the current Documents, create the correct one, then copy
everything back in.
