Recycle bin Problems

I am having problems putting files in to my recycle bin and deleteing files
from my recycle bin. I click delete or empty and the window pops up saying
deleting or empting but the window never goes a way.??? Unknow how long this
is going on. System restore not really an option. Tried CCleaner. Didnt
work. Looking for help. A while back ofcourse I did delete the recycle bin.
But I got it back. Not sure if that is part of the problem. I want to
smack this computer. Help?

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.

If that does not work, try repairing your system. Boot from your Windows
Vista DVD, select the System Repair Option > on the setup screen, select
'Repair Computer > Select your installation of Windows > select Startup
Repair option and follow instructions

sfc could not fix everything.
