Without knowing the exact text of the Stop Error (blue screen), we will all
be just guessing at the cause. It could be hardware, it could be software.
Had you installed anything new right before you got the Stop Errors?
Start troubleshooting by first making sure your hard drive and RAM are good:

If components are faulty, replace them.
If the hardware is good, what is the malware/virus status of the machine? If
you think it is clean, what programs (and versions) did you use to determine
this?
Be sure the computer is clean:

And finally, if the hardware is good and the machine is clean, you could try
a System Restore to when things worked.
