Hi all.

I am experiencing a few problems with Vista 32-bit business.

There is a red x over the network icon.

However There is still access to the internet and the network.

The user is a domain user.

Other symptoms are internet explorer does not start. Intially it was
giving some java error about cannot find devices ect.

When mouse is hovered over network icon with red x it reads status:
unknown Access denied.

When you view the network adapters nothing shows up.

When you go to the Network sharing center..I see an Access Denied in the
window where you would normally see the computer connected to the
network connected to the internet in a pretty diagram.

Has anyone have a clue as to whats going on?

I tried to delete the profile ... but when I logged in as user so a new
profile would be recreated ... I recived the msg from vista that this is
only a temporary profile and any info saved will be lost on reboot.

No other users (such as the Adminsitrator, or if i log in as another
domain user ) are affected by this strange bug.

Thanks.
