reg.exe works differently from winXP, win2003

We have a script we run to check the hotfixes on all of our servers. We use
the reg.exe to remotely get the contents of the key "...\currentversion
\hotfix" on each server.

It does not seem to work correctly on our 1st 64-bit windows 2003 server.
If I check this server from my winXP latop, it lists all the hotfixes from
that key. However, if I check it from any win2003 server (other than
itself), it does not list all the hotfixes from that key.

I am copying the same reg.exe from my laptop to the other servers. I am
using the same login account.

Anybody know how to get this working on win2003?

thanks
