When I try to send a link via Live Messenger, I get the following error:
The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:
This only happens for certain links.
http://www.google.ca ca does not have
this issue, but if I send a link like
http://umm.mine.nu the problem
occurs
It also happens when my friend tries to send the same link to me, which, I
believe rules out my local host file and my ISP.
According to some web searches on the subject, it appears that Microsoft
blocks certain words from being sent via a link. However, in my case,
all of the URLs that I have been sending are procured from
www.dyndns.org
All I do is pick the first part of the URL. The rest I choose from a list.
It seems to me to be triggered on the length of the URL because I have some
long URLs that I have pointed to my website and when I try to send them,
they work as expected.
The odd thing is that if I enclose the URL in "" (quotes) it will often
(not always) work.
Any ideas?
