A neighbor bought a new PC last week and needs to register Vista. What
are the necessary steps t0 get this done? Thanks.

Registration is entirely optional. However, to register, simply
connect the computer to the Internet, open Help and Support, search for
"registration," and follow the instructions provided.

Your neighbor will just need to activate Vista for this. This wil
show you how to get it done. It should only take about a minute or so
