I have a severe nerve problem and I'm afraid I may have moved a file
inadertantly. For an unknown reason my cursor on my laptop is a hairtrigger
and I often select things that I do not mean to.
My question(s):
1. How do I modify my select to not be so sensative?

2. What in the heck is this which hs appeared on my desktop and do I need it?

My email is Windows Vista-Live so Hot Mail is not of concern to me.

Please help me?
Scott

I have a .zip file as well as the unzipped. That file only has a .txt file
that goes like this-

This is a common problem with Vista. Best chance to get back to normal is to
reformat and re-install the big V. Good Luck

(snippage)

You apparently downloaded MVP Ramesh's utility to register Windows Live
Hotmail with the default programs tool in Vista. Here's a link to
Ramesh's site with the utility:

http://www.winhelponline.com/article...ows-Vista.html

There is no way the utility could have magically downloaded itself to
your desktop no matter how twitchy your fingers are, so you must have
needed this for some reason.

As for the touchpad sensitivity on your laptop, go into the Control
Panel and adjust it. Usually the touchpad settings will be in the Mouse
applet, although some laptops have their own Control Panel applet
(sometimes called "Synaptics"). Another workaround would be to disable
the touchpad and use a mouse instead when possible. I have clients with
motor skills problems who swear by those trackball mice.
