Registrations

It's the damnedest thing. I can't register my product. I type in the
numbers, and it tells me the last four or five don't fit. I just installed
Vista-Home Premium. It tells me to register online. When I put the numbers
in that I take from under the barcode of my package, it stops me before I can
get them all in. Is anybody else having this problem?

The Vista product code is not on the outside of the package. There is a sticker
inside on the part that swings out that has the product code.

Hi,

Your Product ID (20 characters) is on the general tab of System Properties
and is probably what you actually need. A barcode is the same for all users
of the same product and would not be used to register it.
