I edit the following location on XP and Vista x86 machines to add a website
to the Intranet Sites Zone.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings\ZoneMap.

This works fine. I do the same thing on a Vista x64 and it doesn't work.
Any ideas on where this same thing can be done on the x64 system?

Thanks

In Regedt32, when you make the entry, be sure the Edit menu/Permissions on
the Values and Keys are set to inherit

The permissions are still inherited.

You should use ****RegEdt32.exe*** not ***regEdit32.exe*** and run it from
Console as administrator.

Is Vista the first Microsoft operating system that is case sensitive? Unless
you're actually talking about a typo in the first instance. Hard to tell
with you.

Cheers.

Q: What OS is built for lusers?
A: Which one requires running lusermgr.msc to create them?

"Case sensitive"...now that's a very big word for a brain damaged idiot
moron lying linux loser like you to use, isn't it? Does your mummy know
you're using those words? Did she approve? Oh, or did you learn those
from your butt-buddy alias?
Well, he pretends a lot doesn't he...LOL!

Maybe someone who knows English will be able to answer my question. It's
obvious Francis is lacking in this department.

Cheers.

Hi,

Thanks for posing in newsgroup.

From your description, you want to add intra-site to the IE trusted zones.
If there is any misunderstand, please feel free and let me know.

To achieve this goal, we recommend to use Group Policy setting.

Group Policy Object--->User Configuration--->Windows Settings--->Internet
Explorer Maintenance--->Security--->security zone and content rating

If there is a standalone workstation in workgroup, Local Computer Policy
also can be configured for adding trust site in Internet Explorer.

More information:
Internet Explorer Maintenance Extension Technical Reference
http://technet2.microsoft.com/window...4-b025-478c-a0

Hope this helps.

Yep, I do that it the setting still doesn't work.
Other vista machines that are 32 bit do work fine.

Any other suggestions?
