I have another problem related to the Rollup-Problem described in KB904374,
(in my system) during shutdown the regstry hive/file SYSTEM gets corrupted.
On next boot "system" and "system.alt" cannot be loaded. This happens since I
installed RP1. Slipstreamed Setup CD boot causes STOP-Screen also.
BUT this bug does not occur on non-plug and play SCSI-Hostadapters only. I'm
using a LSI-Chipset (SYM53C1010). Furthermore I encontered some other reports
related to removable media...
What's the soonest date of a revised rollup package???
I know now how to remove the faulty scsiport.sys, so I don't need help on
this - thanks. I think the KB article should be revised, SCSI-Adapters in
general (not only non pnp!) and removeable media should be added.
