Reinstall SP2 from CD

I ordered and received SP2 on CD because I was told that the download may
have caused a program to be unstable. Should I uninstall the download version
before reinstalling it from the CD.

Is your system stable with the downloaded SP2? If it is, I would not
reinstall from the CD...leave well enough alone.

Perhaps you or the person you communicated misunderstood?
The download version is identical to the CD.
If you installed from the download, there is no reason to uninstall the
download and install the CD.
