Reinstalling failed updates on WinME

I just reinstalled WindowsME on my computer, and was updating all the
critical updates. At the same time, I was transferring files from one of the
other computers on my home network. Anyhow, Windows update quit responding,
and I let the computer sit for about 15 minutes while I ate dinner, hoping
something was just running slow.
When I returned, the computer was frozen, so I manually shut it off and
restarted it. Upon starting Windows update, it showed I only had a couple
more updates to go. When I looked at the update installation history, all of
the updates had failed.
Now my question is (to anyone that can help), How can I get the updates to
clear from a failed status, and reinstall them?
I have already been into my control panel, and clicked on the box to restore
hidden items (updates that have been rejected), but that didn't help...

Thanks for any offered help!

You'll have to install the failed updates manually

You can download them from the Catalog and save to be installed later.
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...en/default.asp
How to Download Windows Updates and Drivers from the Windows Update Catalog
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=323166

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what you want,
Click the “Go To Download Basket” link. Type in or browse to the location where you
want the updates saved to and then Click the “Download Now” button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD if you want.

Other link which may be of interest:

Search for a download
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/s...displaylang=en

The history will still show the failed updates but once successfully installed it
will show the updates as also installed further up the list.
