| I'm running Windows ME and I can't get past the EULA in Windows Update. The
| KB mentions to re-register certain DLL's, but regsvr32.exe is not present on
| the computer. Does anyone know how to reinstall it? The KB says it's part
| of IE, which I have reinstalled, but no dice regarding regsvr32.

REGSVR32.EXE is found on the WinME distribution CD in the file; WIN_17.CAB or on the hard
disk if all the installation files wee copied to the computer. Often they are copied to;
c:\windows\options\cabs
You need to find the path to that CAB file and replace the path in the below command line
represented by <path>
For example; If WIN_17.CAB was found in; c:\windows\options\cabs
the below command line will be...
extract /Y /L C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM c:\windows\options\cabs\WIN_17.CAB regsvr32.exe
Open a Command Prompt
Execute;
extract /Y /L C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM <path>\WIN_17.CAB regsvr32.exe
