Hello

When ever i shut down my computer and boot it back up, Windows has to
reinstall all the drivers of all of my devices including the disk drives, PCI
Devices and onboard devices. It messes up my media center because i have to
set up my tv tuner every time i shut down.

please help

I suspect that your C:\windows\inf\INFCACHE.1 is corrupted. The fix is
to delete that file. (Before you can delete it you must edit its file
permissions to grant Full Control to the Users group.)

Hm, I have no idea why. I'm curious if your INFCACHE.1 has been
recreated by Vista. (Not that I have any idea what that would mean ;o)
