Remaining Battery Time

I have a laptop running vista home premium, what I want to know is how to get
the time remaining in minutes rather than the %. I know of other people with
vista premium but there’s show the time remaining.

Can anyone help?

This depends on the software installed by the laptop manufacturer. Some
software will show an estimated time remaining whilst others will show a
percentage charge level for the battery. Although I don't have a laptop, if I
did I would personally prefer the latter and have a percentage indication of
charge. This is because the time is only an estimate, and can be misleading
in some cases whereas a percentage charge level is a more accurate measure.
If you want to change the way you are notified about the state of your
battery charge, you will need to check your laptop manufacturer's website to
see if they have an alternative driver available.
