Remember Last Folder Used

Dear Microsoft: It's that time again ... my semi-annual request for a
feature.

When I am reading my e-mail and moving messages to my folders under Storage
Folders, WLMail remembers my Last Folder Used.

When I am reading news posts and using right-click Copy to Folder, I always
have to start at Storage Folders. Every blessed time. Could we please have
WLMail remember the Last Folder Used for Copy to Folder also? Thanks for
listening ...

Vanilla

You mean all this time no one, I mean no one, told you that this is NOT
Microsoft ?
This is only a " newsgroup " where people come to look for answers of their
computer problems, and that people who VOLUNTEER to give answers are NOT
employed by Microsoft .
Your requests, past and present will never reach Microsoft through this
venue.
Here is what you should have done :
Open the newsgroup as you did, look up to the top, click HELP. Click Send
Feedback. Just follow the instructions and write whatever in your mind.

Have you tried dragging your messages to be copied to the target folder instead?

Actually idea this made me try something that I thought might have been provided
which would have been closer to what you want but is obviously too general for WLMail:
set your folder in the Mail mode folder pane (Ctrl-Shift-J) and then switch to
your News mode (Ctrl-Shift-L). Switching modes preserves the storage folder
selection for Mail mode. So then I thought: "Can I drag something to the Mail mode
button and drop it there meaningfully?" The answer is "No." but the idea then leads
to the option of setting up two icons in your Compact Folder pane view for News:
the one for your newsgroup and one for your copy target. You can drag and drop
to that.
