Reminders turning themselves off

I use lots of outlook reminders, many of them recurring, and i have different
"remind before" times set for each reminder. I.E. some reminders are set to
go off 15 minutes before the appointment, while others are set for 5 minutes,
etc...
The issue I am having is that periodically almost every reminder i have in
my calendar changes to "none". In other words, the appointment stays in tact
but the reminder function is turned off. Obviously this has caused me to
miss many appointments, and has brought great frustration. I use a WM6
device and i believe the interaction between outlook, activesync, and WM6 is
what causes this issue..Not only do I have no idea why this is happening, but
i dont know wheter it is caused by outlook, or WM6, or activesync. Extremely
frustrated, but hopeful - thanks in advance

I use:
XP SP3
outlook 2007
WM 6.0
activesync 4.5.0
chapura pocketmirror

Can't say for sure, but what is the Chapura Pocket Mirror for? I recall that
being a way to connect Palm devices to Outlook, but see they are offering a
WM extension sort of thing. If you are using it to fake folders into
categories, have you tried not using it and see if your issues remain?

i use pocket mirror to remedy the myriad issues that activesync has that have
never been resolved. For example, it is not consistent in syncing calendar
items.. i dont remember the details of what it does and doesnt sync, because
i have used pocket mirror for so long, but i do remember this being a very
common issue.
Pocket mirror is like an extension in that it works within activesync.. i
couldnt tell you anymore about how it works b/c i dont know.
I dont know what you mean by "using it to fake folders into categories" but
i dont believe im doing that. I am just using it to sync.
I have not tried not using activesync alont to see if it rememdies this
issue, because as i mentioned, then my calender REALLY gets screwed up due to
active sync and that fact that it is one of the buggiest programs i have ever
used. :-) I am aware that this could be a pocket mirror issue, but frankly,
given the unbelievably poor track record I and many others have with
activesync, this is my first guess. Thanks For your help

Can't argue with you on the quality of AS/WMDC. Trouble with calendar
reminders though, is that it isn't one I recall comes up too often. Seeing
an AS add-in, makes me suspicious, which is why I asked. Not familiar with
that particular Chapura product, so I wondered what it did for you. I
noticed on the Web site it helps with some folder sync, which isn't
supported in AS. It seems to do it though in a fairly common way, by
assigning categories to items that match their folder. That is, if you have
a business folder in contacts on the desktop, some add-ins, add 'business'
to the contact's category and copy it into the root folder, letting it
sync, and making it filterable on the mobile device. In essence that gives
you something like folder organization on the mobile device, through
automatic category assignment. That's neither here nor there, just an
explanation of what I brought up.

I just figure if there is an ad-in that extends some sync functionality,
there is always some potential for AS to get confused when it tries to deal
with the extra information. Does Chapura provide some significant
enhancements in Calendar syncing? That's why I wondered if you had tried
without Chapura. Of course, it makes a difference if you have always used
Chapura and this is a new issue, or if this is an issue that has been there
since you started with Chapura, that is just intermittent, or if it is
pretty consistent.
