If PC-A invites PC-B to a Remote Access session, is there an option that
prevents PC-A's desktop wallpaper from displaying on PC-B? Both computers
are running Live Messenger.

Thanks

Greetings Bill,

Actually it should turn off the wallpaper when you accept the assistance (not in Messenger,
but the actual "Are you sure" dialog).

Thanks Jonathan, but I don't recall an "are you sure" dialog. Am I missing
something?

Is it possible that the option is "Automatically share backgrounds and
accept shared backgrounds"? One of my computers had the option checked and
it might be the one that was displaying her wallpaper. Thanks again for
your help.

After the "expert" has accepted the invitation and Remote Assistance connects, the "host"
user is prompted with a prompt if they want to allow X person on their computer, that's what
I'm talking about.

Hi,

No, that function is for Messenger. Remote Assistance is a Windows feature and once the
invitation has been accepted, is completely up to Remote Assistance -- Messenger just starts
the connection process.
