Do both computers need vista to use Remote Desktop Connection

No.. as the client you can have any windows computer, even linux that has
the RDP
viewer!!!

But if you want to view GLASS AERO in the RDP, both computers must be Vista

and of course the RDP server must be some version of windows that has
Terminal services, like XP pro, vista business, or vista ultimate
