I screwed up my own remote desktop client on my computer.
Basically I was following a couple of tuts on how to add security to m
remote desktop on my computer as if I wanted to go away I could acces
my computer securely. Now after it broke and didnt work at all I syste
restored and finally got it working so I can remote desktop into my p
from another computer. But I have a few dedicated servers I connect t
alot but now remotely connecting doesnt work from my PC! After spendin
a few hours on this situation I found a site that let me bypass tha
additional user/pass check as it kept saying: "Logon failed" even kno
Its 100% correct as I was using it earlier that day. So I added
enablecredsspsupport:i:0 in default.rdp in my documents and now I ca
kind of remotely connect but it gets to a login screen which says Vist
Ultimate which isnt the operating system installed on the server I'
remotely connecting to its somehow getting messed up with my computer..
Well completly confused here and appreciate any help

Then after I connect to the server I get:

(Its a lie because the servers OS is windows 2000 server)

So then I tried to connect to a random Ip like: 111.111.111.1 & I ge
the same login screen that I get for my own PC, my 2 users, th
operating system is correct, its like it keeps trying to remote acces
into the current computer im on! So annoying!

If someone can assist on helping me with this issue it would be GREATL
appreciated :

It could be a simple error or a MITMA in which you should try to backup and
reset the server.
