Remote Desktop session is disconnected with protocol error

Hi - Just finished setting up my brand new 2008 R2 server and some thin
clients.

I am getting "Remote Desktop session disconnected with protocol error"
if Remote Control is used on a Windows Server 2008 R2 computer communicating
to thin clients.

I searched around the internet and found that people are using older
versions of mstsc.exe and mstscax.dll as a short fix found in the MS
TechNet:

Is there an MS patch available for download?
Or does MS expect to fix this soon?

Any info/help/guidance appreciated
