I want to store a lot of files, about 120 gigs, onto another hard drive but
I haven't got the hard drive yet. Is there a free site I can store files
onto for a while? Does anyone know of any? A free FTP site, maybe? I have
high speed internet. Thanks in advance.

Cheaper to buy a new HD. I just purchased an internal WD 500G IDE for $69. There is sites that you can upload to and they are called storage sites but they are not free.
Like I said it is cheaper to purchase a new HD than the cost of parking your 120G of files.

I charge my clients $15 per gig storage per month minimum charge 7 days. I have clients that are large Corporations who do not mind paying this amount but you would

Ya, you're probably right. Thanks. All the free storage sites I googled for
are too low. I have to see how much I can fit in. I'm worried all my slots
might be used. An external would be nice. USB, Firewire or Ethernet?

Of USB, Firewire or Ethernet, which is better for external drives/file
transfers/networking etc?

You're making too much of what should be a simple project.

USB is fine. It's usually quite easy to find an open USB port on a
machine, but not as easy with the other two.

Thanks. The ones I found don't go very high. Not to 120 gigs. Unless you
know of any? I would have to pay big, apparently, for that much free remote
storage but I only want to put them aside for a while until I get a bigger
storage device. Probably an external unless I've got room for an internal.

I have each. Yes, they can all handle that, it shouldn't be hard, but I was
asking which do you say is better at it. File transfer, etc?

I've seen some external Firewire drives and other things that look good.
