Remote installation and management of Windows Update over domain

Hi,
I have a domain running on my LAN using Windows XP Professional, with a
non-MS PDC. Does there exist a way to remotely manage the installation
of Automatic Updates (preferably by a terminal (eg. Telnet service) and
not Remote Desktop) on the machines in the domain? My users
understandably have no administrative rights on their PCs and so far
this means that I have to log on to each machine, and allow Automatic
Updates to run myself. I don't mind doing it machine by machine, but I
would rather not have to kick of my users to do it. I would like it
done in the background...

Any pointers would be helpful,

Thanks,
Pat
