Removal of security updates

My ISP is Time Warner. Their dialup software is not compatible with security
update 911280. MS06-025 at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911280 says that I
need to remove the old update and then apply the new one. I can find no
information on how to remove a specific security update. Can someone help me
with this?

Control Panel Add/Remove programs. Make sure "Show Updates" is checked at
the top.
