Remove Annoying Adverts?

Windows Live Messenger 2008 (8.5)

Any way to remove the annoying adverts in the lower part of the WLM window?

Greetings,

There is several ways from patches to skins, but any particular reason why you wish to do
this? Messenger is ad supported, without advertising there would be no service.
