I created a mapped network drive to backup my hard disk on a NAS. I am
having difficulties as the IP address for the NAS changes when I reboot my
router.

I would like to remove the mapped network drive (Z:\) from my computer but I
don't know how to do it. Can anyone help?

Right click on the network drive and select disconnect.

I think the OP has the check box checked to reconnect each time he boots.
See if you can open the netwroked drive dialog and uncheck that 'reconnect'
box. It's a problem I have had and I think I went into the registry to stop
it.

Thanks.

I did nothing and the mapped drive went away. I'll revert to the posting if
it reappears.

Now I have the sync partnership to delete.
