Remove (not just disable) services in VIsta

How can I remove services that show up in the management console?

I see some services that are orphaned - the programs aren't there any
more.

I would like to clean up to make it possible to install new
applications on a clean system.

Hi Mike,

You can use the "SC.EXE" command-line (from an elevated Command Prompt
window), or delete the service registry key directly. Easier way is to use
the Autoruns utility from Windows Sysinternals.
