Just applied the released SP1. Rebooted, performed an
Acronis Backup. All is running well.

However, my system drive grew by about 1.5 gb after I
applied SP1. Where does Vista store the backed-up files
that SP1 creates?

Is the only effective way to to remove the backup files
for SP1 to run Vsp1cln.exe ?

Thanks

I have an Acronis image backup of the system from right
after the SP1 upgrade. It contains all the files which
can be restored at any time.

I have performed every function on the computer I
normally do, all with no problems. I will wait a few
days.

Once I ran Vsp1cln.exe all of the drive space returned.
Have no idea why you would have more after sp1, unless
it cleaned up some temp files on your system.
