Removing bootloader from MBR

Hi!

I've got three hard drives, let's call them 80, 160 and 250. 80 and 160 are
ATA's, 250 is SATA. 80 and 160 are visible at IDE4 channel (respectively,
Master and Slave) and 250 is seen at IDE1 channel.

After installation on 80's partition, Vista installed its bootloader on 250
disk (probably it has choosen first IDE channel). My 250 disk is pure data
disk and I don't want to have bootloader there. My question is:

a) How to remove any system-booting related information from drive's MBR
without harming the partition table or data? How to make partition
non-active?
b) How to reinstall bootloader on desired partition?
c) How to enable booting Windows XP from Vista's bootloader? (tried EasyBCD,
added an boot entry, saved successfuly without results - there is no
bootloader menu shown, just Vista boots)

Best regards -- Spook.

Use MBRWizard.

Mark the primary partition on the 80GB disk drive as active.
Configure the motherboard BIOS to boot from the 80GB disk drive (move
the drive to the top of the list at Hard Disk Boot Priority or Hard
Disk Drives)..
Follow the steps at
