Removing Downloaded Updates

I accidently downloaded updates using the Automatic Update (set to 'Notify')
feature that I didn't want downloaded. How can I remove these uninstalled
updates from my computer (Windows XP Pro SP2)?

Downloaded is not installed. Did you install them as well? Please let us
know how far it went. The advice is a bit different between those two
scenarios.
