Removing "Find In Library" from Play pane was dumb

I've always been a huge fan of WMP, to the point that I evangelize the
product to my friends. However, the removal of the "Find In Library" menu
option from the Play pane is causing me to consider using another program.
What possible reason is there for destroying what must be a very common
scenario?

For example:

I listen to my "Morning" playlist and an Otis Redding song strikes my fancy.
I decide I'd like to listen to the rest of the album. In WMP 11 "Find in
Library" comes to the rescue. In WMP 12 I have to type the name of the song
into the search box. If there are multiple songs with the same name (let's
say the song is on multiple albums or has a common name), I have to scroll
through and find the right song from the right album. What If I spell the
name wrong?

Does anyone on the WMP team actually eat their own dogfood or are the pm's
itunes users who make decisions solely based on anonymous usage statistics?
