Removing SP2 from a computer that won't boot.

Is there a way to remove the files installed by SP2 using a computer that
wont boot? Flashing the bios seems risky to me.

I have a second computer from which I boot SP2 that will not boot the
windows from the problem drive. From this computer I'm able to access and
backup files on the problem drive.
