I have a two node cluster and need to change the virtual name for the
cluster. This cluster will replace my current stand alone file server which
is going EOL. I need to make the virtual name the same as my current file
server which will be shut down.

Is it even possible to change the virtual cluster name one the server is
built and how?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Actually, you do not want to rename the cluster name.

You should have a "Network Name" resource in the group where your
"FileShare" resources are.
This "Network Name" can, and should be changed to reflect your old server.

If you do not have a group with FileShares (and disk, and IP, and Network
Name) then you must create one
Do NOT use the Default "Cluster Group" leave this alone ! The Default
"Cluster Group" is only for Cluster Core resources, again, do not use this !
