Renaming and copying files in recycle bin before restoring

Is there any way you can rename files in the recycle bin before restoring
them or, if that can't be done, copy them to somewhere other than the
original directory?

I want to be careful in case a new file has been created with the same name
as the deleted file.

Of course, I could rename the newly created files before restoring the old
ones, but I'd have to search for each one individually (and there are a lot
of files).

You can get stuck in this situation if you use Epson Scan with the wrong
parameters to scan in documents, together with MS SyncToy to back up the
files.

I guess this question should be considered as a request for a new function
in a future OS; one solution would be for the OS to add something like
'restored' to the original file name when you restore it.

Regards

Just drag them from the recycle folder to wherever you want them - does not have
to be the original location.

Based on the couple posts you made so far you'll never turn into a
