Microsoft does not have a program called
"Windows Repair Feature". Is this a third-party
program you obtained somewhere?

Get Windows XP Service Pack 2 with Advanced Security Technologies:

Thanks for responding. It is the update that susposed to find worms and
trojans. I guess I called it that because when I start my computer, windows
installer starts working and then a box says it cant install repair feature.
It ask me to reinstall but I dont know if it means to reinstall Norton anti
virus or what. Also same notification comes up when attempting to start
Microsoft Word 2000. I need to click on cancel install on the windows
installer box for it to go away. I installed this fix about 5 months ago and
every since I get this notice, everytime I start my computer and when I start
Word 2000. Thanks again for looking at this.

your question. Did you find anything else that fixed it?

not support the Repair feature, please uninstall and reinastll. I have no
idea what or where the Repair feature is. What am I supposed to uninstall and
reinstall??
I can only get rid of the box by clicking the upper right corner 'x'
Please advise. Thanks

It is asking you to uninstall and reinstall Norton. That's what you should
do.

Greetings:
My first time posting. What a helpful place! I've been having the same
'repair feature' problem, went to the Symantec website and checked out a few
suggestions, then decided to do live chat. Ironically, at the bottom of the
live chat page, there is a message indicating the very problem we're
experiencing, referencing a 'live update patch' problem and that they are
working on it. So, check out the live chat (by the way, I never did chat!),
for the message. Have a great day:-)
