Hi Harry,
Okay, what led to this was the task bar not coming up, and the windows
shutdown window would pop up soon after bootup saying something about RPC
call requiring a shutdown.
Then I hurriedly went into services.msc and the icons were missing in the
extended side of services but the icons were on the standard tab. But when
going into properties of each service (trying to disable RPC) there were all
dimmed out.
Hence the re-install.
Any ideas?
