Windows Update is telling me, almost daily now, that I need to download and
install .Net v1.0 SP3. Each time I have done so when prompted. But, the
next day or a few days later I get the same message. This has been going on
for over a month now. Windows Update doesn't prompt for a reboot, but I've
tried it both ways and continue to get the download message. I'm running XP
Pro SP2 with Windows Update set to auto download / notify before install,
and I haven't rejected any updates until this v1.0 SP3 this morning.
Now, I'm not even using v1.0 for development, at least I don't think I am.
I'm running VS2003.
Should I attempt to uninstall the v1.0? What would this mean for all the
development I've done w/ VS2003? In don't want to have to reinstall the VS,
I've done a lot of customization of my IDE that I don't want to lose.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
