Sorry you are hitting this issue. Try this:
1. Close all Internet Explorer windows and any other Internet browser
windows.
2. Click Start
3. Click Run
4. Type: cmd <Enter>
5. In the Command Prompt, type: net stop wuauserv <Enter>
6. Type: net stop bits <Enter>
7. Type: cd %windir%\system32 <Enter>
8. Once in the system32 directory, type: notepad registerit.cmd <Enter>
9. Confirm you wish to create this file.
10. Copy and paste the following into the notepad window:
set ECHO=off
NET STOP WUAUSERV
NET STOP BITS
regsvr32 /s cdm.dll
regsvr32 /s bitsprx2.dll
regsvr32 /s bitsprx3.dll
regsvr32 /s iuengine.dll
regsvr32 /s qmgr.dll

11. Save this file, by pressing <Ctrl>+<S>
12. Close this file
13. Back now in the Command Prompt, type: registerit.cmd <Enter>
14. Type: net start bits <Enter>
15. Type: net start wuauserv <Enter>
16. Restart the computer
17. Now see if things improve.
