Repeating Update KB835732

I know there are many posts regarding this issue but I have not come across a
definitive resolution. I have "successfully" (as indicated by Windows
Installation history) installed this update numerous times. Yet it still
shows up as a critical update. I want to get this resolved before updating to
SP2. What is the real solution? What do the MVP's think I should do here?

It would appear from my observation that the install of this criticle update
fails
because a non criticle update has to be installed first.

I suggest you go through the NON criticle updates and select those that are
recomended and then re-try the KB835732, you should find it now installs O.K.

Sorry I can not tell you exactly which NON criticle item resolves this, it
was by
sheer chance I found it worked for me anyway.....
