Rename msxml4.dll as shown in the KB article
IF KB936181 is listed in Programs & Features [Installed Programs] click
the Remove button and choose the *REPAIR* option.
IF it is NOT listed, download another copy of it from the link on the KB
article and *save* it.
When the download is finished close all open programs and browsers
REMOVE KB936181 via Programs & Features [Installed Programs]
Restart *only* if prompted to. See Note below
*Right* click msxml4-KB936181-enu.exe and choose 'Run as administrator'
Follow the prompts
Reboot afterwards
Note: IF msxml4.dll can not be renamed in normal Windows mode, restart
the system to Safe Mode and rename it from within there.

HP printer software can lock msxml4.dll and prevent it from being
swapped out and replaced by the copy included in the update.
