Replace x64 Vista installation disc

I just attempted to install Vista Business x64 on my spare partition. In the
'expanding files' phase it stayed at 0% for a few minutes, then came up with
an error with something to do about the source folder. I gave the disc a
clean and it went to 62% in the 'expanding files' phase and then the error
came up again. Is it possible to download or order Vista for free (without
an additional serial number) or is it easier to just download an oem torrent
and burn myself a dvd?
