Hi!

I need a replacement for gpedit.msc (I'm running vista Home Premium).
Any ideas?

It's just an interface to the registry, so, if the registry you want to
change even exists in Home Premium, you could always do it manually.

I'm trying to add Specific Folders to the Open Dialog Box XP style that
some programs still use. I followed the instructions given in
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/PlacesBar.htm (method 3) (I was told that it
worked for Vista) but it doesn't work.

Yeah, he knows a lot about the registry, so he'd know if you can edit the
registry directly instead.

Solved! I forgot to use a capital letter in the key name.

Thanks
