Reporting Guide Errors

Hi all,

I have notice in Canada - on 2 different MCE 2005 machines and with 2
different Cable providers in 2 different Provinces, that CBC Newsworld
(Canadian version of CNN etc...) is incorrectly shown in the guide as a
channel called VOICE. If you tune to that channel - it is indeed Newsworld,
and Newsworld does not even appear in the guide anywhere.

Importanlty, the guide is choses correctly, as ALL other channels are
exaclty correct.

Where and to whom can this be reported for resolution?

Thanks,

JS

Actually, Voiceprint and CBC Newsworld share the same channel (for some
obscure reason). I don't understand what this means, but it is what causes
your "problem".

Hmmm - weird. Thanks Steve. I wonder how we can get if "fixed" to default
to the Newsworld programming info?

I think that besides the name problem you should have any difficulty with
the wrong shows being listed. I don't record anything from CBC Newsworld
myself, and so if there is a show problem I wouldn't have noticed I'm
afraid.

Right.

But is there ANY MS outlet to report problems such as this?

This is NOT a problem. "Voice" is a Secondary Audio Program (SAP). Read up
on it.

My Guide reads, ..."CBC Newsworld", and, "(This channel is shared with
VOICE. Switch in Settings)"

To see this, point at the channel number

I presume you can change what the guide shows in "Settings".
