Same thing happended to me remote assistance was working and available on msn
7.5, upgraded to new final 8.1 and remote assistance option is missing from
menu. I have allow remote check box ticked under my computer properites
remote tab. I upgrade again to beta 8.5, still never appeared so i decided to
down grade again to 7.5 and funny enough its still missing. Checked the reg
entry ole for enable DCOM = y and its there. Kinda stuck now as to what to
do. any help would be great, i know its not vital and remote assistance still
works through xp from the all programs menu, but still an annoyance.
system: xp pro x64 sp2 dual intel xeon 3.0ghz 2gb ram
