I reinstalled bits with the following command:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132
%SystemRoot%\inf\qmgr.inf

After the installation and the reboot when i try to start bits it returns
"error 2: the specified file cannot be found by the system" (or something
like that - it's a translation from greek). When i try to start the auto
update service it returns the error "0x8007273d". Any suggestions? I post the
results from the
commands suggested to another user:

C:\>sc qc bits

Do a search in this group for BITS. You'll find quite a few threads with
alot of information on what you can try to get BITS to work. Give them a
try, as many of the people have worked thru them and gotten BITS operational.
I, on the otherhand am still working with MS on trying to figure out how to
make it work.
