Requires password after update?

I have set my Windows XP to automatically update (Express Install) as
recommended and somehow it updates itself and now it requires me to put in a
password to log on BUT I do not have a password.

NOw I can't logon.

Try leaving the password blank.

Thanks for your reply.
The weird bit is that when I initially install the Windows XP, I did not
supply any password - not even for administrator access. It's just blank

Now it want password, where do I come up with a password? Is there a default
password if our password is empty???????????????

No, there is no default password.
Try anything you may have put in possibly thinking it was something else.
Otherwise the link on my last post may be your best option.
