When I close me Dell Inspiron E1505 with the computer still on, I assume the
computer just goes to sleep. But when I open my computer back up and it goes
back into windows vista the resolution changes every time. I'm hoping
someone can tell me where to find a patch or how to change a setting to keep
this from happening. Thanks much.

Hello,

Make sure you have the latest video drivers for your notebook from the manufacturer's website. In
your case. you would look at:

Well... if you're -assuming- your laptop goes to sleep when you close the
cover, than I have to assume you don't know what it's doing, exactly. What
are the power settings for when you close the lid? Does your laptop go
through POST when you wake it up or does it go to the Vista desktop?
