I need to restore a complete HD baskup. Fortunately, it is not the system
disk, and I have a recent backup done with Vista.

I want to restore the situation I had before the last full backup.

I have tried to do it, but the system restore files and folders that I
deleted time ago. I want the files and folders I had when I did the last
backup.

Is is possible? How?

Polonio - Your post is slightly confusing to me (which is not hard to do
confuse me that is) lotd og backups.
Regarding the statement "... want the files and folders I had when I did the
last backup...." - any files and folders included in the "last" backup would
be restored, however any backups performed after file/folder deletion were
done are "gone".

I will try to explain again...

I want to restore the situation I had before the last backup. More or less,
this is the cronology of the facts:

Marh 2007: Full backup
April 2007: Incremental backup
May 2007: Incremental backup
May 2007: I reorganize my disk, deleting and moving some folders.
July 2007: Incremental backup
Aug 2007: Incremental backup
Aug 2007: Crash!

I want to restore the situation I had on Aug 2007. However, when I've
restored the backup, I've seen files deleted on May... How is this possible?

You can try to mount the VHD for an specific volume. This article
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tec...p/default.aspx
has some info on mounting VHDs.
